How To: Hack-proof your business passwords

General or basic passwords make it easy for hackers to access your business data. This can be costly in terms of money and your business’ reputation. Hack-proof your passwords to help keep your business secure.

To help better protect your data, create strong passwords using the following practices:

  1. Use different passwords between home and work. Within your work passwords; financial, administrator accounts, computer login and social media, each should have it’s own unique password.
  2. If you must share your password with someone (an authorized personnel of course), set a reminder to change it once they are done using it.
